The exhibition’s parallel events In the frame of the 5th international exhibition ELECTROtec & Lighting Salon 2010 and during its four operation days, many significant events were organized which attracted a huge segment of the exhibition’s visitors. SMA Hellas, Geyer Hellas, Noratex SA and Georing Services – Orbcomm Hellas presented their new suggestions regarding the particular sector, while the nonprofit organization of “KNX Greece” presented its global activities and acknowledged its official start up in Greece. Furthermore, there were organized many events by Associations, such as the Exporters of Northern Greece Association (ENGA) and the Pan-Hellenic Federation of Electrical Installers Association (PFEIA). SMA Hellas SA “Integrated solutions of photovoltaic modifiers” SMA Hellas SA (subsidiary of SMA Solar Technology AG), was the great sponsor of the 5th international exhibition of ELECTROtec & Lighting Salon. On Friday 1 October from 17.30 till 18.30 in the conference room C2 made presentation on: “Integrated solutions of photovoltaic modifiers” which, as stated “for the past 30 years secures the maximum performance of photovoltaic systems and the further reduction of the special power rate”. The presentation’s participants had the chance to get information regarding the SMA’s innovative products and services. There was a special emphasis on the Sunny Boy HF modifiers as well as on the telememetry systems targeted for household plants up to 10kW. The event’s attendance was great and at the end the audience had the chance to ask questions concerning the technology of photovoltaic modifiers that were presented by the company. All participants were able to get the new catalogue with the products of SMA Hellas. KNX Greece “Official start up of KNX in Greece” KNX Association organized the event that was presented by “KNX Greece” on Saturday 2 October 2010 from 12:00 till 14:00 at the conference room C2. KNX National Group of Greece: A general overview of KNX in Greece and the objectives of National Group and its future activities in Greece were presented by George Lazos. KNX Association: Mr. Casto Cañavate, the marketing manager of KNX Association-Brussels made presentation on the events and activities of KNX International with regard to the KNX international work and the KNX international awards. KNX Userclub Greece: It was presented by Mr. Vassilios Lourdas and information was provided to all systems installers regarding the organization’s activity in Greece as well as the meetings and events that will take place in the future. Moreover, all participants were invited to join the Club. “Meeting of presidents and directors” On Saturday 2 October from 1.00 till 4.00 pm a meeting of presidents and directors of the Pan-Hellenic Federation of Electrical Installers Association (PFEIA) took place at meeting room M2. Foto POSHE A meeting of presidents and directors of the PFEIA took place in the frame of ELECTROtec & Lighting Salon exhibition. Geyer Hellas S.A. “Electrical installation of photovoltaic systems” “Electrical installation of photovoltaic systems” was the topic of the presentation that was presented by Geyer Hellas SA on Saturday 2/10 at conference room C2 from 15.30 till 16.30 as well as on Sunday 3/10 regarding the same topic. All participants had the chance to get information about the electrical boards of photovoltaic systems on premises and rooms. There were also presented projects related to planning photovoltaic systems up to 10KW, their protection from hypertension and extra tension as well as the basic rules that should be abided for electrical installations. The board of lecturers included Mr. Anastasios Kyriazopoulos, civil engineer, photovoltaic systems manager and Mr. Michalis Sidiropoulos, electrical and mechanical engineer, MBA, new applications development manager. Noratex SA “Presentation on solar inverters by Danfoss” Noratex SA presented the solar inverters by Danfoss on Saturday 2/10 from 17.30 till 18.30 at conference room C2. In particular they presented the company’s Solar Inverters and participants were informed about single-phase and three-phase inverters as well as the design software of Lynxplanner photovoltaic system. The board of lecturers included Mrs. Athanasia Christodoulou and Mr. Georgios Christodoulou from Noratex SA and Mr. Dimitris Skeparnias from Drivetech. ENGA event “The strategy and the prospects of development in the electrical equipment industry” The Exporters of Northern Greece Association organized an event at the meeting room M2 on Sunday 3/10 on: “The strategy and the prospects of development in the electrical equipment industry”. Mr. Alexandros Fourlas the industry executive was the person of interest who paid close attention to the problems and the requests of the participant operators and plighted to convey them all to the Minister, Mr. Chisochoidis. The event was organized by ENGA of which president Mr. Dimitrios Lakasa was present. Moreover, Mr. Antonis Alibertis and Mr. Marinos Miserlis from PAEMM, Mr. Stathis Daras, Mr. Diamantis Kasapidis, Mr. Manos Kafkalas and Mr. Babis Konstantopoulos from GATUEC, Mr. Giorgos Zoutsos from PFEIA, Mr. Giorgos Konstantellos from OVIE, Mr. Giorgos Chrisanthakopoulso and Mr. Giorgos Chachlakis from EL.K.E.P.I.Y, and Mr. Gregory Dimitriadis, the Ministry of Development spokesman were present.
